August 16th: Urban Fiesta
Come experience a vibrant fusion of two cultures in one unforgettable evening for day 2 of the Halifax Salsa and Bachata Festival. This Urban Fiesta is a celebration unlike any before it, the event will include live Latin music featuring Halifax's own Son Latino with some Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue to keep you on your feet. Later, the beats will take a thrilling turn as DJs Ricardo and Riggs deliver electrifying Afro vs. Latin mixes. Ricardo will ignite the dance with a blend of Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton, and Latin Pop, while Riggs will infuse the night with Afrobeat, Amapiano, and Caribbean tunes to keep you dancing all night long.
