About the Festival:
Now in its 7th year, the Halifax Salsa & Bachata Festival is Atlantic Canada’s biggest celebration of Afro-Latin culture, blending dance, music, art, food, and vibrant community connection. The 2025 festival runs from August 14–16, with vendor activations on Friday, August 15 and Saturday, August 16 in the heart of downtown Halifax.

Each year, thousands of attendees gather to enjoy live music, cultural showcases, family-friendly entertainment, and the tastes and talents of incredible vendors like you. Whether you’re serving up bold flavors, sharing handmade cultural goods or kids art, this is your moment to shine.
